Hosted weekly virtual yoga classes and ran the virtual London Marathon to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer, supporting loved ones and strangers who battle with cancer.

Railway Children

Swapped my bed at home for the cold floor of Waterloo Station for one night to raise awareness and vital funds to support vulnerable children who face this ordeal every day around the world.

Amani Children's Home, Tanzania

Ambassador internship to learn about the communication, educational and financial processes that fuel the children’s centre.

  • Developed communication materials incl. newsletters and pamphlets

  • Planned educational and extracurricular sessions for the centre to use on an ongoing basis

  • Learned about tracing child identities and balancing priorities between multiple vital needs

  • Attended site meetings for build of “half-way” house where children can move when they turn 18

Olafur Eliasson

June 2015

​Little Sun distribution volunteer for TAFCOM children's centre in Tanzania

  • Used editorial contacts to source Little Sun lights directly from international artist Olafur Eliasson

  • Hosted educational sessions on renewable light sources for staff at TAFCOM children's centre

  • Distributed Little Sun lights to replace kerosene oil lamps for families who attend TAFCOM

  • Wrote a feature on the project for darc magazine

Bafokeng College,
South Africa

July 2008

While at school in Amsterdam, I was selected as one of six to raise funds for the Royal Bafokeng College in South Africa before visiting Pretoria and staying with students from the school. The funds were used to build a sports area at the school and pay for the several of the students to explore their home country. Together, we travelled around SA, volunteering in orphanages and building housing projects.
